I gave Mother Nature a call
I asked her where was fall,
I've looked about and it couldn't be found
Its beauty and wonder was nowhere around;
It was missed by one and all.
I wonder were was that season
Was it omitted for some dire reason,
I never saw no leaves falling
Nor did I see the squirrels collecting and calling;
Was there a firing or treason.
The days of course were shorter
As was designed by Mother Nature for this quarter,
But, the temperature wasn't considerably cooler
It was like summer and I became a drooler;
I of course was no supporter.
I asked Mother Nature once again
Please bring us fall and where has she been,
I then looked and I read and then I found the true solution
Mother Nature left us because of pollution;
Fall was not destroyed by her, but by men.
