Where Wings Collide Not

where wings collide not
nor prisms break apart
neverending

in the kingdom of tears
may we
find refuge.

but here in an evil dream
we are washed overboard
come back we say as we are drowning

barely forming the words

but the ship cannot hear and veers away.
where these fears play
on the playground of our years

send angels quickly
lest we disappear
en route to the candy house

without the witch

and grant that the crystal shoe
not be smashed against a wall
by the envious.
