Where's The Beef? Poem by Ima Ryma

Where's The Beef?

When the truck broke down, this cow moved
Successfully into the brush,
And for quite a distance I hooved,
Knowing I was lost in my rush.
But for some reason I did take
A zig zag route to destiny,
And came upon a lovely lake,
Fringed by many a fine fir tree.
And then and there I did choose to
Stay and enjoy this peaceful spot.
'Freedom' I shouted with my moo,
At least for the time I've still got.

Temporary haven domain,
Fugitive from the fast food chain.
