Wherever You Are Poem by David Harris

Wherever You Are

Rating: 5.0

The roads I take maybe long ones
to get to wherever you are.
The days will be filled with yearning
and the nights filled with a cold chill of the lonely,
but my heart will remain loyal
until your back in my arms again.
The road that took us away
will return us one day
to the place wherever you are.
If sadness may come upon me
along the road a while I will stay
then tomorrow I again will be on my way,
back on the road to find you
wherever you are.
Facing more days without you
and nights in the cold chill of the lonely
until the day I can hold you
back in my arms again.
