Who Can Bathe Me In The Milk Oceans Of Love? - Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

If dreams have wings
I would like to sit on the wings and fly beyond
the realms of the earth.

I want to fly beyond the world of shadows
to the world of butterflies and rainbows.

I want to sleep in endless grace
smiling in the joy of a sweet embrace.

Who can save me from the sad memories
and give me new?

Who can bathe me in the milk oceans of love?

Oh how I long to drown in the milky waters of innocent love.

The poem reminds me and refreshes the parents love that I experienced in my early childhood where there was no shadow and misery,
If man longs to drown in the milky waters of innocent love, it's his parents, what he gained in his early childhood
And he too, portrayed the innocent love..

    profound, amazing,
    Loved reading and commenting

this is sort of beautiful and reminds me a lot of a song called 'Fireflies' by Owl City. Nostalgia and fear of losing childhood innocence is a very poignant topic to write about. well done! (Report) Reply

Innocent as the from the child's heart. Every one wants these little things of joy, and the gullible question is plainly the yearning of a child. You really have a white heart. (Report) Reply

Very deep and innocent. I like it a lot! It reminds me of wanting to be free and having the will to fly beyond what is called a fantasy land. (Report) Reply
