Who Cares Socially? Poem by Phil Soar

The percentage of people who don't give a shit
Is beginning to get on my nerves just a bit
Drivers who think that the roads are all theirs
Burglars who rob you, when your're unawares
Drunks who cause chaos when they drink to excess
Guilty drug addicts who refuse to confess
Twitterers posting obscene hashtag words
Bloggers who write things without thought for the hurt
Protesters who turn to a violent exchange
Bullies who persist in ideas so strange
There is always somebody who just thinks they can do
Whatever they like, and not think about you
It seems there are more people looking to say
"I'll do what I like, what I want to, today"
So forgive me if I think that the social misfits
Just don't deserve my time, and get on my tits.
