Who Invented The Computer

Most people, do not like to be controlled,
By very few at a time,
Who invented the original computer,
That now controls, everyone's mind.

How much of your life,
Have you donated to, the initial & related inventions,
Calculators, cell phones, TV's & others in the game,
Computers, we can not avoid,
What was the original inventors name.

Ideas come,
They enter into my brain, I try to make them rhyme,
Blaise Pascal, invented, a adding, subtracting machine, in 1642,
For dates and times, I sub consciously connect,
With a history buff, friend of mine,
Mr. Wilfred Funk, he's usually right,
As I want to be honest, with you.

A special thanks, Wilfred Funk, of Funk & Wagnalls Inc.
