Who Needs Pretty Poem by gershon hepner

Who Needs Pretty

Rating: 5.0

Who needs pretty when there is exciting?
Beauty's not provided by a jeweler;
once acquired, nothing is inviting,
there is always something that is cooler.

What's exciting isn't always pretty,
and possession never truly rules;
kill the cat when you collect the kitty,
that's the jeopardy for beauty and for jewels.
