Who Will Guide Me Back To My Ancient Home Poem by Mohammad Younus

Who Will Guide Me Back To My Ancient Home

Rating: 5.0

Who will guide me back to my ancient home,
Where peace and love once filled my heart's expanse?
Where colours danced and music graced each day,
And Eden's echoes still, though distant, play.

My heart's own heaven pulses with that song,
A light that gleams, as if a bridal sign—
The vow of union with the truth divine.
A lamp between my eyes glows like the moon,
Casting its silent warmth, a sacred boon.

I am both cause and effect, circle and point;
The One who is the Truth reigns on His throne.
Once, His light was mine, His breath my own,
His warmth, a spark that marked me as His own.

His spirit left its echoes on my soul;
That truth now hides within the voice I speak—
A secret locked, a laugh that doesn't cease,
As sight retreats into my eye's deep shade.
