who will pass
a cup of time with me
quietly reading poetry lost
in shifting verse images
contemplating lines meanings
in mellow shared joy ecstasy
who will pass
a cup of wine with me
quietly with warmth
infusing
tongue mouth
body mind
who will pass
a cup sublime with me
quietly in the moment
sharing peace harmony
time timeless soul fusing
on the other side of silence
reading between lines
