Whole Foods Market Poem by Marilyn Lott

Whole Foods Market

Rating: 5.0

Have you been to a whole foods market?
Fruits and veggies so fresh and pure?
Oh, just the smell of these delightful foods
Will make you want to take the tour

Lots and lots of pumpkins displayed
Brilliant in their deep orange suits
Bright green are the limes, as well
And hundreds of yellow squash to boot

Why, there is even a drink you can buy
Though I’ve never heard of pumpkin ale
I’m quite sure it’s just scrumptious
Yes, you’ll find it too for sale

Artichokes with their pretty leaves
They have their own special place
Lots of sweet corn, oh so delicious
Ginger that gives a dish a spicy taste

Red peppers and apples as well
A feast right before our eyes
Please come to the open market
It will be such a pleasant surprise!

I just adore this place! I go there at least once a month for my grains and such. I eat there when I go too. I maybe eat more then I should but it is all so good and fresh, how can one resist? Ten! Linda
