Why - Poem by Marilyn Shepperson

I have no fear of cats or dogs
Nor any bird either
I actually like snakes and frogs
And mice can be quite charming
I have no fear of any insect
Not even the stinging kind
So can you tell me, why it is
A spider sends me running
