why do human tragedies multiple
an event causing great suffering
destruction distress could be natural
an horrific catastrophe natural
or a human caused serious accident
or a human caused serious crime
indifference delayed aid intensifies
misery suffering untreated injuries
lack of food shelter clothing heating
delays due to greed corruption political
divisions wars inherited hate agendas
some people justify reassure
'everything happens for a reason'
the reason is often indifference
or racism hate first fed with mother's milk
