Why do you frighten me?
I am not to fall prey to your frowning terror - moist!
I am intrepid enough to ignore your funny efforts
to scare me prostrate at your cold feet.
The moon gives me rays of inspiration to defy your devilish dancing.
The ripples of the Yamuna safeguard me from your venomous fangs.
The wind sings immortal melody to keep my lamp burning.
I live for adoring life!
You will take me to a murky land full of dismay!
I must go there.
I can't help even going there.
A mortal soul is helpless.
Still the lyre of life I must play as long as life allows me.
You have no mercy on me!
I am only a kid and you ate keen on snatching my life.
The sky sheds tears of sympathy for me.
But you are shameless and insisting persistently on putting out my
glow of liveliness ebullient with hopes.
Malignant malady has invited you to come to threshold.
Yet I would not bow my head to you.
I must accompany you with a dauntless stride.
