why is the world so violent
why is there on earth no peace?
why is there everlasting no peace
for every land every tribe of man?

in every country I dream of peace
blessings for every child woman man
blessings of health wealth happiness
blessings of abundant fruitful peace...

may you all drink full measure in years
may you taste seldom any bitter tears
may true friendship bless all your days

may peace security guide path your ways
may your days be long in plentiful sun
may your work be rest easily well done...
