Why Should I Fear You Poem by Susheela Alexiose

Why Should I Fear You

Why should I fear you?
At the age of sixteen-
When you were at my doorstep
I never feared you

Jesus has won victory over you-
At the Cross of Calvary.
You can only take my soul away
My spirit will go to its creator

I'll enter into His peace
And'll find rest as I lie
A new heaven and new earth
Awaits me with a warm smile

So why fear you?
Oh sweet Angel of death!
