Why Me God?
From the age of nine
Till this very moment of mine
My heart bleeds with sorrow, and I ask,
Why me God, why only me?
Can you ever forget
The days I feared every threat
The nights I shed my tears, and I ask,
Why me God, why only me?
How much I love
How much my heart grieve
How much I trust your words, and I ask,
Why me God, why only me?
Only to suffer
This life is always tougher
One step down always, and I ask,
Why me God, why only me?
Where's your unfailing love
To keep me still alive?
Where's your enduring mercy, and I ask
Why me God, why only me?
When we see a shining diamond we say Wow, that's what your friends and well-wishers will tell about you, for all the suffering and pain that you are going through. Remembering you in my prayers. Also, reaching out to all readers on this platform, to please remember this poetess in your prayers.
Another excellent one - deep feelings expressed. Poetess, please remember that the diamonds that you see sparkling, was carbon once a upon a time. When carbon goes through very high pressure and intense heat, not for a short period of time but for a very long time, it forms into a diamond.
Where's your unfailing love To keep me still alive? Where's your enduring mercy, ........ We dont understand God's ways. why me? this is a question so many raise in their lived. a very good poem to the point. tony
