Why This Hoo-Ha, About Polls?

Rating: 5.0

I love to go and cast my vote
things are orderly, you must note
seniors queue and move fast
an hour or so, wait could last
on my way back, it is my turn to.gloat

for.the unbiased, polls are fun
who wins, who doesn't, doesn't.stun
some bad guys do make.it
need not disturb us, wee bit
we have no say, emotions, we should shun

can't understand, which way people vote
my secret choice, is sacred, I won't quote
the winners are bound by whip
hence my interest takes a dip
but, democracy and freedom, I dote

I do have my views on everything
which on my nice friends I don't fling
'politics is for scoundrels'
sounds bit harsh, but it gels
'educate and empower', I do sing
