'Wild Destruction' Poem by Trade Martin

'Wild Destruction'

Clouds darkened…., thunder hammered….,
Drops poured loudly…., through the night…,
Rivers crested…., lowlands flooded…,
Structures crumbled…., to nature’s might.
Mud and splinters…., devastation….,
Can’t imagine…, the woeful sight…,
Who can figure…., why it happens….,
Keeps you humble…., makes you fight…,
Wild Destruction…., no instruction….,
Satan’s smiling…., it’s not right.
