Wild Roses

Flowers bloom
toward the sky
Reaching tall
Reaching high
to touch the endless
endless sky
Reaching tall
until they die

Thorny touch
lover's sigh
A field of roses
where they lie
Eyes towards
the starry sky
Reaching tall
Reaching high
Reaching until
until they die

In grassy meadow
there they lie
Hands apart
beneath the sky
Starlight shines
on silent eyes
that softly speak
their muted cries

On a bed of roses
there they lie
Reaching until
