Will I See You Again Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Will I See You Again

Moment not gone

Will I see you again?
When left alone
In pain
And chained

You were not going away
From mind all the way
I used to remember you
As day dreamer

But you are away and out
I have fallen out
Not from grace
But from smiling face

I shall hold you this time
And not allow going away any time
I am prepared
But really feared

Will you hold my hand?
And tell friends
That you are mine
And always dine

Just be back
And stake
Claim on me
And be frank and free

It is no more
Freedom for
Moving alone
That moment has now gone
