Will There Be Poem by Concetta Salter

Will There Be

Will I find the one I’m looking for, before I meet my grave?
Will I find the man I dream about, before I should decay?
Will answers that I’ve always sought be answered way to late?
Will everything I’ve ever dreamt be lost without a trace?
Will life be cruel until the end? Or will I meet some good?
Will everything just fall in place, and be the way it should?
Will people always laugh at me, and think that I’m a freak?
Will strength and courage find my heart. Before my breath should cease?
Will God find time to hear the prayers I’ve made since I was born?
Will happiness embrace my soul, and let me feel it’s warmth?
Will angels conquer all the hate I fear is in my mind?
Will someone see the girl within, instead of what’s outside?
Will people always look at me, like I can not compare?
Will there ever be a day, where I might not feel fear?
Will I always shed these tears until the day I die?
Will I ever be the girl who’s found herself a guy?
Will I always be alone. No friends in life at all?
Will I always be the girl who stumbles and than falls?
Will there be a brighter day. A sun instead of clouds?
Will I ever take some risks. And leave out all the doubts?
Will there be a future full of everything I’ve dreamt?
Will there, will there, will there be an end to all this mess?

There is always bright sunny day after the dark nights. You will see what you desire.
