"I want to tell my friends... "
--William Bronk, "The Tell"

"We are only two guys talking."
--William Bronk, in a letter he wrote to me, dated January 25,1995, referring to the nature of voice in his poetry

Bill's register is adult, conversational, intimate;
He is speaking to someone he knows, or might know,
one person speaking frankly to, with another. Listen,
listen carefully for his tenor: it's always there for you.
