present felt wind
blowing in gusts
is having no effect
on joy lip red roses
laden carpet roses
decades blooms
enduring beauty
perennial blesses
old hardy shrubs
sadly showers heavy
rain damages red roses
sodden spoils soft blooms
silken wax soft origami
drips copious raindrop tears
newblooms unfold glorious

Heavy downpour of rain can destroy roses specially in their soft blooms. A well thought out poem.
