Windswept Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Windswept

Rating: 5.0

sailing on fresh breeze
my hat is off for a ride
alluring blue skies

fragrant flowers cringe
until gold moment all's clear
windsongs at windows

a determined quest
from orange clouds to the ground
in in-between hours

scattered grave matter
in the whirlpool of hued days
sparkling in slow time

I adored the power of the 1st and 4th stanzas, hat off for a ride, 'whirlpool of hued days sparkling in slow time', the personification of fragrant flowers cringing at windsong windows, I love to stop to appreciate windswept trees landscapes.
