Winter Ballet Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Winter Ballet

Rating: 5.0

The arrival of a beautiful winter princess
is anxiously awaited as the hours before dusk
grow shorter… she'll be wearing a flowing dress
of sheer white… sprinkled with diamond dust

Tranquil sounds of silence mystically entrance…
as delicate snowflakes begin to create a vignette
Peacefulness veils the land as winter maidens dance...
Gossamer ballerinas glide and gracefully pirouette

Those who view are enamored and happily delighted
by the first snow that contours and covers the ground
As the winter moon glows… frigid crystals are ignited
A sapphire stillness invites the seasonal turn around
