Winter's End Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Winter's End

Rating: 5.0

The snow is melting
And the buds on the trees are opening
Into leaves of beauty
The blue skies are appearing
In the distance
Making the daffodils quake from the ground
As the robins sing, drunkenly, a Leonard Cohen song
I watch this and take in the warm breeze
As another Spring has arrived
I walk speechlessly happy
Towards home
