Ars Poetica
My poetry is a mystery to me also
I don't know how I write
I feel it isn't any good
That I could make a living
When it gets published, I can shout
On atop of a mountain
And I feel confident and full of joy
But with one rejection that comes
I am falling from that mountain
Sometimes, I think I should give up
Because I am too old to continue
But my Dad's voice comes to me
Saying 'Poetry is yr trade, Lee-Ann '
I wipe my tears and pull up my bootstraps
And continue to write
As nothing can hold my words then

The Satire I use is to bring the back of the mirror merged with truth, realities and hidden agenda behind.
Poetry comes from inner feelings. we try and express what we feel. I write 'Satire' poems not the normal satire which believe in using humour to attack a person, an idea or behaviour that you think is bad or silly... NO this is absurd.
I think that's part of the fun of poetry…the mystery in it… even when your the author!
