Winter Weather Woes Poem by Walterrean Salley

Winter Weather Woes

Rating: 5.0

Winter Weather, so contrite;
Snow piling through the night.
Causing worry, causing fright,
But picturesque at daylight.
Blizzards raining with all might,
Piling white stuff to great heights.
'Tis man against nature’s might;
But sadly, some have lost the fight.
Airlines cancel countless flights.
Workers shovel—no delight.
Army of snowplows, just to fight
All that snow; a sore sight.
