Wireless Attachments

Rating: 5.0

invisible frequencies of song
wrapping threads around
around a solitary brain

befuddling the mind
in a random…orderly fashion
the evolution
and materialization
flow quite naturally

with the buzz of static
everything
is garbled…until a decisive turn
or press of a button
making everything much clearer

ears and heart
recall vividly
laughter and saturating tears
accumulated in thin layers...
plans and destiny
memories and projections
history and prophecies

each impulse of energy
claims a path
leading in one direction
then bouncing back...
vanishing or seemingly so
into a universe that contains
reflections from the past

Where do I begin; so much to love in this one. 'invisible frequencies of song' is a good place; for to our minds and memories, the sound of our loved ones must resemble most of all a song. 'befuddling the mind in a random…orderly fashion' makes me think of the difficulty at times of hearing a transmission. These words are genius; 'memories and projections history and prophecies'. And the last verse is poetically perfect and precise; the mirrors which bounce around all our echoes as if by a magic spell. I am just in awe of this.
