Wisdom Suffers To Provide A Warm House Ready In A Storm Poem by Terence George Craddock

Wisdom Suffers To Provide A Warm House Ready In A Storm

how delicious when outside cold flurry snowflakes are blowing
while inside a hot pine log fire in the hearth is blazing burning
a good dry pine log wood fire burning merrily on a stormy night
is a warm comfort glow drink merry sing song inspiring sight;
bitter frost cold gales cannot warm snug chase merry spirits away
appreciation for a dry roof a warm house is a comfort on a cold day
outside wild creatures will be sheltering from this storm snuggled down
this night the last of a fierce winter storm we will not in memory mourn;
