Wish I Could Be The One Poem by Soumili Karmakar

Wish I Could Be The One

I see you coming out from thine carriage;
You were not too far away to be fetched,
It is all about you from the start
Don't you know how I ended up with the diamond star?
Wish I could tell you my intrigue,
Wish I could unveil my heart,
Wish I could be wind,
Would love to be intertwined.
My eyes were fixed,
You were not tricked,
My love was raised after coming out from the golden cage.
What you meant to me for these ages of holding on?
A miracle of sincere manifestation blessed upon
A Song, where chorus was in repetition and I was not in hesitation.
An unsend alive epistle, living in my drawers
Was not out of breath,
Which I always read and sprinkled my dreams and hope to be sent,
With your name beautifully portrayed on,
The first initial, I wrapped my heart for the only one.
Raining still, but I'm standing under the Apricot tree.
Could you, please tell me, where you live?
The address holds an importance
After knowing, which I could send my warmly benevolence to make you believe.
Did thou ever inquired, where my cave hid?
Time is fleeting unanimously
I want to pause it
To make our remarkable history.
The galaxy belongs to you,
The twinkle eyes are waiting to write 'your's beloved'.
The winds are spreading their arms,
Please, run towards me and let me be unarmed.
I'm standing here just for your glimpse
Finding you in my heartstrings.
Don't you know you left a tranquil piece within?
Don't you know it is to you, whom I ask?
Will you speak now, if I tell you I hate the mask?
Will you come looking for me
When I tell you I'm beside the Moon?
Will you love me, If I tell you;
Thine eyes tell me you are there for me when the world seems a sabotage?
Will you think about our token of love,
When you miss me and seek to confess the truth in fear of facing the strange?
Will you return if I ask you to?
I'm running out of words,
You said to write down my dreams,
So here I inscribe about you in my chords:
What I feel, what I desire the most
Hence, I create.
I just can't take my eyes off you;
I'm painting my walls and fixing our picture for a lively view,
You would be surprise
If I showed you my flaws,
I'm not scared to tell you my cause,
It is you still now, even if I loss
As I know you, as my only gross.
We look alike, don't we?
I wouldn't dare tell them I was with you on the sea,
Dancing with you till the end of the twilight,
Making it happen since I dreamt for it whole night.
Who shall know that we were there?
Who shall know I was the one to call you fair?
Who shall know my longings, which I wept?
Who shall have loved me if we never met?
I want to call you for once and for all
Please tell me, you'd come at my door searching, with a basket full of youthful hues
I would be blessed to see you happily before my breath says - ‘Adieu'.
