Wish I could Fly
Like a bird over the ocean
To look at the waves that ply

Wish I could Fly
Like the wind over the desert
And count the ripples on the sand dry

Wish I could Fly
Like a cloud on a clear sky
To touch the horizon, where the gold lies

Wish I could Fly
Like a dream in a child's eye
To wipe away all the tears dry

Oh how I wish
As if it were a lucky dip
But I do not fly which makes me cry

A dream that fades away
A spell gone astray
I stay on the ground and pray
Wish I could fly away
