Wishing Upon A Star Poem by Kay Barcelon

Wishing Upon A Star

Rating: 5.0

When I was a little girl
I wished upon a star
Waited and waited until
I forget what they are

Now beneath the innocent smile
I still look up the mystifying sky
No longer the small but the bigger
The radiant the magnificent moon

With my clever and ambling mind
Intrigued by the brilliance of the moon
I created your might and existence
Utterly capturing your essence

Though the tiny stars may still shine
Small wishes are forever obscured
The moon magic spawned a new rise
There is more boon from a bigger size

I like this one specially Kay. It's something different of the things you wrote before., I think if this is a change it's for better dear. Nèstor
