With bare hands
Heart sings well
And unwillingly tell
About the sufferings felt
And no fragrance smelt
This is tragedy
For the mankind made by an almighty
He had given clear direction
For building harmonious relation
It was to be our goal
And respond to divine call
Leave behind everything
And bring along nothing
But we rushed towards material happiness
And brought unwanted tresses
We forgot basic things
Nothing was to accompany with dead bodies
The hands were to remain open
For onward journey to heaven
The principles clearly indicated
The outcome of our deeds was to be counted
So we wasted human life
And cared nothing about family members and wife
We regarded less for humanity
And finally went bare hands to an almighty
Great mantra for a blessed life. TFS. Jasneet Kaur, Nov 23,2017
A very good one! The flow is very sweet. Supratik Sen, Nov 23,2017
Nice poem, Hasmukh ji, on the general greed to amass wealth by people. As you rightly point out, all spiritual gurus have always pointed out the futility of this (at the expense of peace and harmony in one's life) when we have to leave everything behind when we depart. GSP Rao, Nov 23,2017
