With Fires In Heaven Poem by Pradip Chattopadhyay

With Fires In Heaven

Rating: 4.8

under cloud's mountain
I speak her
words of love.

this moonlit night
is no time
to break the spell

with fires in heaven
and stars tempting
false oaths

she dies

in my million sparks of lies.

Powerful and full of a variety of meanings for different readers. I see this poem as talking of the importance of truth, and the harm caused by deception and lies.
