Without A Mind
I see strange things in this world
Things about which i have no words
Like the human spirit has finally failed
There is a rush for misguided superiority
Hypersonics and unbridled lethality
Shrouding our earth with mushrooms of uncertainty
Me thinks some people are aliens
Their urge to go back home endless
Leaving aboriginal sapiens homeless
Taking off on spaceships to go back home
Earth written off as a bygone
To be fossilised with billions of human bones
Otherwise how do we explain the lack of global leadership
The belligerent brinkmanship
Launch upon launch of spaceships
Money wasted on killing machines instead of healing
Mother earth reduced to comorbidities of killings
Rifts 'tween east and west festering without humane feelings
I see these things in this world
Things about which i have no real words
Like the human spirit has finally been unfurled
Run aground
Wondering round and round
Without a mind.

It seems the political leaders of nuclear states are the most belligerent. they've never looked at the website nuclear famine dot org, it would frighten them.
