So what if everyone is doing it
So what if they're all having fun
So what if they all enjoy it
So what if i'm that one in a thousand
That says 'I could wait forever with her'

Often i see those people lose feelings for each other
Often the relationship ends on bad terms
Often things all fall apart
Often they no longer care for each other
They only want that bit of fun

I don't care what you want to think
I'll be the first one to tell you
I'm scared
I may want to
But i don't want to chance things

I want us to last forever
I don't want 20 minutes of fun
If it chances my future with her
I will stand up strong to anyone
Who tries to tell me we need it

If i have to wait ten-thousand years
Before she's ready
I will tell you right now
I'll wait, and i'm probably
The only guy in the world who would be willing to wait

But theres something there that allows me to wait
it's called love
And i've fallen in love with her time and time again
So i'm wailling to do anything for her
If i could give her the world i would

And also another reason
I don't want to be a let down
To myself, my family, christ, everyone who cares about me
But as i said before
I'll wait for her....until she's ready...not a day sooner
