I won't forget holding your hand in a cab that day,
Will remember gifting you a bracelet on your birthday,
The day you called and broke down, due to a few texts,
I drove down to see you during the hour next,
I can't forget when you called me from hospital,
I had no way but to decline, which was brutal.
I won't forget the day, I cooked a dish for you,
That's the day, I had taken a secret vow,
Won't forget those texts I attacked you with,
Forgive you did, though it affected your health.
The walk I took in the hospital, when your mother was ill,
Will stay in my memory, till they pay my graveyard bill.
