Wonder Time Poem by Vision Ghost

Wonder Time

Washing over me like a shower of crimson rain
As though the very heavens have bled for me
Heading to a newer vision like a skyward train
I bear the wings of an albatross, into the air so free

To embrace the fellowship of innocence in the wild
In the cordial realisation that the heart of every child
There within is foundered the pulse of angels
So miraculously lost in dreamless paradise cells

Let yourself cross an ocean at a thousand miles an hour
A free bound gravity in orbital bliss like a seamless flower
Able to anoint thus seeds and reflect the petal sun
Climb in such assertion in limitless skies just for fun

Find answers to every question you have ever asked
Realise that even now exploration is under tasked
Stand upon two mountains and stare star bound
Toward the universe while hearing every sound

Sit patiently upon the expansive panels of a satellite
Let it show you a world in orbit and take in every sight
Brush the moon with your fingers and leave streaks
In the dust and upon the highest, towering lunar peaks

Share a joke in whale song while conversing with dolphins
Swim to deepest depths yet still see in the darkest caverns
At all the weird things before catching a ride on a Manta Ray
And realise then that all this can be done in just a day

I caught a star when passing by in a sky of purest blue
Here it is in my hand, brighter than illumination, it’s for you
It’s always ok to be lost in fantasy, it’s not a crime
Open up your mind, welcome to your own wonder time
