Words are birds on wings, ideas that bring,
Ideas brought, haply they hop to wing.
Freely thence the songs soar
As free birds, words no more,
And yet wiser we still to words cling.
As if boat-less at sea,
Wordless few pens can see,
Nor sans words can poets ever sing,
Oh words, words, mortal man's undoing!

A wonderful limerick. Great rhyming throughout this write. And with a meaningful message.
Words are so vital in communication. Without them, we can hardly understand each other. Yes, words are birds on wings. Sometimes faster than a sound. As what you said in your Poet's Notes, words mislead, restrict and limit. So very true. Yet, still words may vary depending on the receiver's mind.
