Words, Like Tools Poem by Rani Turton

Words, Like Tools

Rating: 5.0

Words like tools, are my expression.

Words, unlike theories remain
For generations to come.

The universe will change, gradually
But words, like tools can express

Emotion and expression, and remove
Unnecessary lingering worry and stress.

Before we are we were
Now we are we won't be;

That, then, is the crux of this theory.

Words like tools lie idle near my hands
Pass through my mind
Insubstantial phantoms
Here and then not there
Never alone but living in isolation
Until total cessation.

Rani, words are tools, they are our means of expressing what we see, what we feel. If we want they can be always beautiful and in your heart they always are. Thank you Rani, because I love your poetry. Bob

Words in certain peoples hands as yourself are beautiful and inspirng, but there are the dark words of hatred and racisism that need stamping out of our beautiful world. Let us sleep with love and understanding, showing respect for each other, thankyou Rani 10 Chris
