Oh, I want the words to breathe-
When at the gate lies a rose wreath
When silence swells and nothing speaks
When nothing seems, even if it seeks
A smile upon face may hide the heart,
A stone under nose, a mask on chart,
Confusion spreads where roads divide,
Yet everything seems so falsified.
As Gen Z, I don't see the face,
Don't care, don't look, just scroll in haste
Only a click away, no time to chase
Yet to read one - still many ways,
Perhaps emojis that don't seem real,
Seem false, who wants them to wear?
Updates may change, but nothing is shown,
They can't reveal what's never their own.
To use them seems so much in vain,
Here everyone is bound by some chain.
A type, a click, can't make words breathe,
Nor show the truth behind teeth.
In the world, why can't words spiral free?
Why can't they unveil what we see?
