Why are you roaming?
At the dusk, at the dawn,
Amidst this rain, amidst thin haze,
While water keeps sweeping
Through the days of your life.
Are you looking for someone?
It is empty here—there is none.
Look at these pieces, scattered everywhere,
Everyone in pieces,
Everyone looking for peace.
But if there is someone,
A soul faithful enough to stay,
Someone whom we wish for—
Not like a mirror that surrenders
The moment we turn away.
Perhaps that is what you need:
A shoulder to cry upon,
A quiet place to weep,
Someone who feels a little more
Like yours than the world does.
But there is none here.
So perhaps, for once,
You must learn to own
The silence,
The emptiness,
And the pieces of your own.
