Working Class People Poem by Francis Duggan

Working Class People

Though on the wrong side of the social divide
They can feel proud of themselves the working class people Worldwide
Since they are the builders and souls of every village, city and town
In the working class struggles stories of renown
To working class heroines and heroes your toasting glass raise
Since their contributions are only worthy of praise
Without working class people there would not be a billionaire
This is something that most people of would be aware
Without working class women and men humanity would not survive
It is on their contributions that economies thrive
So let us hear it again a loud hip hooray
For the working class men and women of today
And though many of them a just reward for their working endeavours never does reap
Without their contribution every Country's economy would fall in a heap.
