Working Every Day Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Working Every Day

Working every day, having to pay bills in order to live
comfortably in a house with electricity and water, never
seeming to catch up.

Life isn't fair, as it gives some people more than enough
to live on while others are totally despondent and living
in abject poverty their entire lives.

Rich people looking on, knowing they need help, walk away,
doing nothing from their hearts to help another, totally
self-centered and selfish, going back to the safety of
their lives.
