World's End Poem by K J

World's End

Tell me my Dear how many people
Already are on the edge
Just one step from falling down
Into nothing, hopelessly

What is it that brings them down
Like this, once for once
Is there really nothing we could do
To stop the breakdown

Make that misery vanish

Even at the end of a world
If it'll all melt together
Would we at least be equal then
To gain freedom again

Go and see my dear how many people
Stand alone with bleeding hearts
But still bear to smile under their pain
Kissing their misery

What is it that causes such pain
Like this, one after the other
Is there really nothing we could do
To stop the pain

Make the wounds heal

Just count my dear how many people
Are flying around in a golden cage
Without a glimmer of freedom in sight
Dying inside

What is it that's tying them down
Like this once and again
Is there really nothing we could do
To bring the freedom back

Make the chains melt away

Even at the end to this world
When it all melts together
There still wouldn't be any justice
We all fly around in a cage
A mental cage...

All of you are awaiting the end
Of this world in fear and mourn
Hoping, but not seeing
That the end's already here..........
