World Sparrow Day is a day designated to raise awareness of the house sparrow and then other common birds to urban environments, and of threats to their populations observed on 20 March. Sun-bird is smaller in size and weighs about 20 gms. But builds lovely nests in balconies.Right now I am watching helplessly the battle going on in my balcony.Sir MV- Late Sir M.Vishwesharayya, the most famous civilengineer and administrator from India, active till about 1960.He is credited with construction of major dams in India.
