Worlds Apart Poem by Josey Alfred

Worlds Apart

Wisdom demand you to be insane,
For an insane like you, would be so plain,
And would be inclined to claim,
Much less a share than a saint.

If you are sane, you think too far,
So oft, to grab too much for one!
For the plans you think are so oft,
A mirage running, without foot prints.

You be a soul, insane in world!
No roots can hold you in this world!
For this is a jungle, filled with beasts!
Who kill each other, to be a king.

Fly past fly past this wretched world!
And be an angel with no brain!
Or close your eyes to be so blind,
Than to be a witness, in mad world,
........

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This world has become a strange place, here all relations are sacrificed for selfish gains. No compassion or human considerations exist, be it the parents, elders, or infants, none is considered, whosoever stands against you would be whipped out.

This is the reality of life. The poem comes close to portraying the world as it is- in black & white. If you want have your own life, stay grounded with basics. away from superfluous pursuits. Thanks. And be an angel with no brain! Than to be a witness, in mad world,
