Worth Poem by Gary Hembree

Worth

Ill never understand.
How a man cant see.
The worth he holds in his hands.
She stands there with a smile.
To fool all the others.
As he passes her off.
Like he won her at a carnival.
She goes blind by her own false love.
Pushes whats real away.
I will never understand.
Why I cant have.
The love thats wasted on a man.
Who cant see the worth he has in his hands.
